Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Edgardo Cambón is an accomplished percussionist, vocalist, composer, and bandleader with an illustrious career spanning over three decades. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he leads Edgardo & Candela, one of the most beloved salsa bands in Northern California. With a repertoire that blends classic and contemporary salsa, Cuban son, and Latin jazz, Edgardo’s performances are a masterclass in rhythm, passion, and authenticity. A skilled conguero, his energetic stage presence and musical precision make every performance an unforgettable experience for dancers and Latin music lovers alike!
